Greenhills / Lipscomb...............................................Area 2

East of Green Hills shopping district and west of I-65.  A full range of sizes and styles, this established neighborhood’s most recent addition is a number of new construction “horizontal regime” homes. Most of these homes are fully attached to 1 other similar home, have contemporary floor plans & features, and sell for $170 - $210 sq ft.

Hillsboro / Belmont University / Vandy..................Area 2

Just south of Vanderbilt University. Much within walking distance. These conjoined neighborhoods are urban and classic. Belmont Boulevard is lined with large 4-square style homes and makes a great evening walk, featuring the architecturally appealing Belmont University.  Hillsboro Village features shops, restaurants, bars and other services. Historic and convenient. These neighborhoods have strong associations and many proud home owners.

12th South..................................................................Area 2

An urban neighborhood to the east of Belmont and west of 8th Avenue. 12th South has a new retail core on 12th Avenue with restaurants, coffee shops and parks. Most homes are historic in nature, craftsman bungalows, tudors, cottages and some four squares. Many homes are currently being rehabilitated and there are still a number of re-hab candidates available.

Belle Meade...............................................................Area 2

Nashville’s premier established neighborhood. Estates with considerable land, well appointed cottages and many homes geared for entertaining are found here.

Hillwood......................................................................Area 2

West Nashville established neighborhood on the north side of Harding Road (West End Avenue) and south of Charlotte Avenue.  Large lots with homes of all sizes.  Many sprawling 50's & 60's ranches as well as newer estate homes with every amenity.

Oak Hill.......................................................................Area 2

Just south of Green Hills / Lipscomb. Oak Hill is known for its larger lots, quiet streets and convenience to I-65. It contains homes from 2000 sq.ft. to 10,000 sq.ft. and has some rolling hills. Much of the growth in Oak Hill occurred in the 1960s, therefore the expanded ranch style home is quite prevalent here.

West Meade...............................................................Area 2

West on West End on the north side, across from Belle Meade. West Meade features large lots, many ranch style homes and convenience to the Belle Meade shopping district.

Bellevue.....................................................................Area 2

West on I-40 from downtown past Old Hickory Boulevard, Bellevue is a large suburban neighborhood with many different subdivisions and types of homes to choose from.  Riverwalk offers spectacular views and new homes, Harpeth Trace has contemporary living in the woods and Cross Timbers has well built 1960's ranch homes on large lots.

Richland / Cherokee Park / West End....................Area 2

On the north side of the West End neighborhood, just west of I-440.  An established in-town neighborhood, 5-10 minutes from Vanderbilt University and the West End business district. Historic homes line the streets. The annual home tour, the first weekend of May, displays this neighborhoods pride of architecture and level of organization. Homes vary in size and level of finish.

Whitland / West End..................................................Area 2

South side of the West End neighborhood, west of I-440. An established in-town neighborhood known for its spectacular 4th of July parade. 5-10 minutes from Vanderbilt University and the West End business district. Historic homes from tudors to large stone four squares. Green Hills borders to the east of this neighborhood.

Woodland in Waverly................................................Area 2

A pocket of homes located off of 8th Avenue South near the many antique shops and Thoroughbred motors with many classic Victorians and the Demonbreun House Bed and Breakfast.  Convenient to I-65 and the local university scenes, it has recently been re-discovered as a find for historic home lovers.

Sylvan Park................................................................Area 2

5 minutes west of Vanderbilt University, just across I-440 on Murphy Road. Quaint cottages, tudors and bungalows. Sylvan Park sports many city living features such as a community golf course, restaurants, pubs, a small grocery, veterinarian, florist and garden shop. Many homes have been rehabilitated and feature historic characteristics.

Crieve Hall.................................................................Area 1

East of I-65 at Harding Place exit.  Larger lots with 50's & 60's ranch homes.  Convenient to interstate, then 10 minutes to Vanderbilt University, Downtown & Brentwood.

East Nashville............................................................Area 6

East of downtown. East Nashville is chock full of historic homes, many Victorians, tudors and bungalows. Little Hollywood, a series of stucco homes, backs up to Shelby golf course. 5 Points features restaurants, bars & coffee shops. Shelby Park borders the Cumberland River offering many paved trails to bike, rollerblade or walk.

Inglewood...................................................................Area 6

North of East Nashville. Inglewood is convenient to downtown via Ellington Parkway. Ingelwood spans to the east as far as the Cumberland River and homes on Moss Rose Drive look out across the river to Opryland. Many quiet streets, cottages, and tudor style homes are to be found here.

Forest Hills.................................................................Area 2

A Green Hills / Belle Meade connector, Forest Hills enjoys large lots, hills and a mix of new and older homes.

Brentwood................................................................Area 10

South of Nashville on I-65, Brentwood was farmland and hunting grounds.  The main roads are lined with the original homes of the area and now many subdivisions have been built on what used to be the adjoining land.  From gated communities like the Governor's Club to smaller Town Home communities, Brentwood has every size and style.

Cool Springs............................................................Area 10

South of Nashville and Brentwood on I-65, Cool Springs has large office parks, corporate headquarters (Nissan) and many housing subdivisions.  Like Brentwood, the majority of this land is newly developed with modern floor plans and amenities.  Cool Springs is home to a Galleria, golf courses and many restaurants.

Historic Franklin / Williamson County...................Area 10

Middle Tennessee's historic old town with cobblestone streets and quaint shops.  Franklin has older traditional homes ans many new subdivisions of all sizes and price ranges with many amenities.

Historic Edgehill / Music Row....................................Area 2

In-city living, historic bungalows, cottages & victorian homes within walking distance of restaurants, Vanderbilt, Belmont and Music Row businesses.

Downtown..........................................................Areas 1 & 3

A burgeoning market of condos and lofts.  Lower Broadway and 2nd Avenue offer restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping, museums.   Walking distance to stadium.  A mix of high rise and historic buildings.

Rosebank / Fortland Farms.....................................Area 6

An East Nashville neighborhood.  Mostly 50's & 60's ranch style homes on wider lots than most of the adjacent neighborhoods.  Close to Shelby Park which sits along the Cumberland River and Shelby Greenways trails.

Berry Hill....................................................................Area 2

Quaint shops now occupy many of the small cottage homes on Bransford and Iris streets.  Berry Hill has a mixture of residential homes, private recording studios and retail shops.  Also known for having its own police department - the speed limit is 30 MPH!  Many local restaurants, coffee shops and a discount mall are within walking distance.

Eastwood Neighbors / Historic East End...............Area 6

An East Nashville neighborhood east of Gallatin Road and north of Eastland Avenue.  Historic bungalows, cottages & victorian homes.  Walk to restaurants, nightlife, coffee shops.

Germantown..............................................................Area 2

Immediately north of downtown, near the Farmers Market and Capital building.   Mix of victorian homes, cottages & lofts.  Formerly an industrial area that is going through considerable renovation. 

Percy Priest / Mount Juliet ...............................Area 7 & 8

Close to the airport and Percy Priest Lake, this area has grown considerably lately.  Percy Priest Lake is lined by Army Core of Engineers property so there isn't waterfront available for building but there are many marinas, a water park and state parks for all to enjoy.  Homes vary from 1960's cottages to new construction.
